It's over

I haven't been up close and personal with the Pope but nonetheless I will have fond memories of World Youth Day - a pity that we didn't get a public holiday just like for APEC :) Wasn't it great that some of the city streets were closed to traffic, it's not everyday that you see this:

Thumbs up to the church in my 'hood. I don't know who comes up with these lines but they always make me smile and this is a good one:

Yesterday the pilgrims were making their way to Randwick where the vigil and the final Mass on Sunday would take place:

This is a street one block away from where I live.. pretty impressive I must say. I guess it's now time for them to make their way to... the airport! Adios los Pilgrimos and Bon voyage!
