... to me!! With too much going on at work and on my mind, I forgot to wish myself a happy anniversary on Aug 20 (I celebrated last Thursday night without knowing it :) ) . 1 year ago I became a temporary Australian resident. One of the best days of my life!!... just thinking about it I could cry!
It felt so good to spend the past 12 months without worrying about finding a job with a sponsorship offer, then putting up with all the paperwork and then waiting anxiously for the department of immigration's decision to grant me a 4-year visa.
I'll have to go through that again when I apply for permanent residency - oh.. in case you had not worked it out by now I confirm that I want to stay in Oz forever and ever :) - but you know what?? I can't wait!!! It's not going to happen just yet though, I'll spare you the details of why/how but I will definitely keep you updated!

Avant l'Australie j'avais la larme facile, maintenant j'ai la larme de joie facile :)

Dis donc Madame. Ton statut de résidente te donne des obligations culturelles envers nous, pauvres européens.
Par exemple, comment se fait-il que tu ne m'aies jamais parlé de Gabriella Cilmi et que je sois obligée de la découvrir comme tous les ploucs du coin via une FM locale ? Je suis outrée! :)

Melanie Horsnell et Gin Wigmore elles ne comptent pas??? Gabriella s'exporte la-haut j'en suis ravie pour elle! Je vais essayer de faire mieux a l'avenir...c'est promis.
