Aaaaah.. Sydney's fireworks... I love them!!! Pure magic!!!
To get a good spot you have to get there early and I did just that .. 2pm I was sitting comfortably in my chair. Yes 2pm, fireworks at midnight... you do the maths. This was my third session so I'm better prepared every year: a good book, enough to drink and eat, music to keep me company when it gets too dark to read (Le Gout du Bonheur - Adelaide by Marie Laberge) though next year I might get a torch! An unexpected phone call helps to pass the time as well, thanks Mary! But it is worth the wait, I'd get there at 8 in the morning if I didn't have to work :) because these fireworks are just AMAAAAAAZING!!! To see the Sydney Harbour Bridge all lit up is quite something.
Anyway ... Happy New Year everyone!!! May 2009 bring you everything you wish for!!!
